Hey guys its Sam and today I will be talking to you about paintball. I was asked to choose a sport to do as a long-term sport not like soccer or rugby, so I chose Paintball. some people would be scared to play this sport but really all then people are really nice and the paintballs only give you a few bruises and don't hurt that much, like a bee sting that lasts for a minute, really its not that bad. My home field is at thunder ball off the motorway by Porurua in wellington, come join us! to join a paintball team you have to have a Mask or helmet a gun a vest, hopper or mags a gun cover or sock, paintballs (of course) and a vest with clothes. I play in the woods and forests with an addition of dday maps (a map where you have one team defending a building or bunker and they can not come out for 5 mins, and another team sprinting and sliding up a path from the sea to try and capture the base. it is usually a massacre for the running team.) Some of the tactical gear you can get are: Flash bangs, a grenade that blinds you for a matter of seconds also creates a huge noise (usually illegal in NZ but you still can find games that use them,) Paint grenades, a grenade that blows up when triggered or on a timer to be thrown. Claymore Mines, a movement triggered paint grenade pointed in a certain direction to blow up. Mortars a huge paintball launcher that is pointed in a direction and fired from a standing position. All in all I think that paintball is the best sport that there is.
hope to see you there
